1. Develop and maintain 达勒姆郡 Government's Strategic Plan

2. Measure the performance and outcomes of the strategic plan (data analytics)

3. Serve as internal consultants for business operations and process improvements

What is Strategic Planning? 

Strategic Planning is a continuous journey of deciding what the goals are for an organization and the best path towards achieving those goals. Using strategic planning as a tool, we identify stakeholder priorities, work collaboratively with County 部门, and county leadership to develop and implement organizational changes that make service delivery more efficient and innovative. 

What is Performance Management?

Performance Management (PM) is a process used by organizations to track their performance, identify areas of strength and weakness, and make data-driven decisions to improve organizational effectiveness and efficiency over time.

Performance Management typically includes:

1. 设定目标: Defining clear and measurable goals that align with the organization's mission, 愿景, and strategic priorities.
2. 选择标准: Choosing the key performance indicators (KPIs) or measures that will be used to evaluate progress towards the objectives (goals).
3. 收集数据: Gathering relevant data and information related to the selected metrics from various credible sources.
4. 分析性能: Examining the collected data to assess how well the organization is performing against its goals and identifying areas for improvement.
5. 实施变革: Using the information gained from performance analysis to make data-informed decisions and take actions to address any challenges in areas for improvement.
